The founder, Shunkai Sakai, carefully selected and only dealt with items of high quality, fashionable designs, and profound values for the merchandising of Aoi even when there was virtually no conception developed for the word, “brand.” What Aoi stands for, All Original Import, has now become the long-standing philosophy and the driving force as a distributor for numerous signature brands to date.

I believe this philosophy is much desired for today’s market in turbulent times with vastly diverse needs. As the precursor of the present select shops, living up to this philosophy, questing for lasting values and attractive merchandising, strengthening relations between our customers and the sales representatives, will be the most important challenge, and it is our promise to you that Aoi Company, Limited returns to the cornerstone in 2007.
